Charlie Thurston serves as the President of Comcast Spotlight. He joined Comcast Spotlight in 2002 and is responsible for leading a team of 3,600 employees in local, regional, and national advertising sales that generated approximately $2.3 billion in gross revenue in 2012. Comcast Spotlight is in nearly 80 TV markets, including 20 of the top 25. Comcast Spotlight sells the local advertising slots on 50+ cable networks (ESPN, CNN, CNBC, History Channel, etc), as well as banners/videos on internet sites (including XFINITY.com and others).
Hank Oster holds the position of Corporate Senior Vice President and General Manager of Comcast’s $2.2 Billion advertising division; overseeing the company’s divisions for national, regional and local sales, advanced media & Xfinity online sales, corporate data & research and corporate marketing & communications.
Bill Haase serves as Comcast Spotlight's Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration, where he oversees the finance, human resources, and legal functions. He manages all of the financial operations and reporting for the division as well as the administration of human resource practices for the company's employees.
Mary Rooney, VP Strategic Planning and Internal Communication, works closely with our executive team to develop programs and processes to help the company achieve its business goals. She and her team focus on project leadership and internal communications tools to create efficiencies, share best practices and provide uniform business metrics across the company.
John Tierney serves as Comcast Spotlight’s Senior Vice President, National/Regional Sales. In this role John develops and guides strategies that have grown several critical segments– including political, automotive and tune-in advertising–into businesses that contribute significant revenue to Spotlight. He was promoted to Senior Vice President in February, 2012.
Kevin Patrick Smith was named Senior Vice President, Comcast Media 360. Kevin manages six separate teams under the Comcast Media 360 portfolio. This includes Content Partners, Performance Plus, National Sales, Direct Response Sales, Media Intel and Digital Solutions These teams work arm in arm to coordinate cross-company initiatives and showcase Comcast’s full portfolio of assets to marquee marketers who crave addressable, interactive and accountable solutions.
Dave Kelly, Division Senior Vice President, oversees all local, regional, national and advanced media sales as well as Operations for the Eastern Division of Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable.
Rick Stanley is the Senior Vice President for Comcast Spotlight’s West Division, responsible for managing all local, regional, national and interactive advertising sales and operations across 12 markets including San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Sacramento, Portland, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, Spokane, Fresno, Eugene, Monterey and Colorado Springs.
