CTAM

NCTA

The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) is the principal trade association of the cable industry in the United States. Founded in 1952, NCTA’s primary mission is to provide its members with a strong national presence by providing a single, unified voice on issues affecting the cable and telecommunications industry.

NCTA represents cable operators serving more than 90 percent of the nation’s cable television households and more than 200 cable program networks, as well as equipment suppliers and providers of other services to the cable industry. The cable industry is the nation’s largest broadband provider of high-speed Internet access after investing more than $100 billion over ten years to build a two-way, interactive network with fiber optic technology. The Ad Council

The Ad Council is a private, non-profit organization that raises awareness for important causes, including quality of life for children, preventative health, education and environmental preservation. The Council asks members of the advertising community to donate their time and talent to create these public service announcements; and then asks media outlets to donate air time or print space to these cause-related commercials. Comcast Spotlight is proud to support the Ad Council by donating air time so that these messages can reach the America Public.
