Food Network serves up a new six-episode series Meat Men from Zero Point Zero Production premiering April 9 at 11p. The series features famous New York butcher and meat seller Pat LaFrieda who operates Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors, a third-generation wholesale meat business that serves 500+ customers including many well-known restaurants and bistros in NYC.

 

Wicked Tuna

New fishermen series, Wicked Tuna debuts on National Geographic Channel April 1 at 10p. The 10-episode series highlights the spirited fishermen in America's oldest seaport of Gloucester, Massachusetts as they catch bluefin tuna.

 

Titanic at 100: Mystery Solved

History has scheduled its special Titanic at 100: Mystery Solved for Sunday, April 15, 8-10PM, exactly 100 years after the ship was hit by an iceberg and sank. The special follows a group of scientists, engineers, archaeologists and imaging experts who try to answer the question of just why the ship broke apart and plunged into the icy waters of the North Atlantic.

 

Coast Guard Florida

The Weather Channel approved a new original docu-series Coast Guard Florida produced by Al Roker Entertainment (ARE). The series is slated to premiere on The Weather Channel this October with 13 one-hour episodes. ARE also produces TWC's series Coast Guard Alaska which debuted in November 2011 and was recently renewed for seasons two and three. Coast Guard Florida will follow the men and women working for the 7th Coast Guard District who keep America's ports secure and the waterways safe from three Coast Guard Bases in Clearwater, the Keys and Miami/Everglades.

All Stars: RuPaul’s Drag Race

Logo has given the green-light to another RuPaul series--All Stars: RuPaul’s Drag Race-- that pits drag queens from previous seasons against each other. The net has ordered six one-hour episodes to premiere in the fall.

 

Mama's Boys of the Bronx

TLC heads to the Little Italy area of the Bronx for its latest reality series, Mama's Boys of the Bronx following five Italian-American guys who are 30-something, handsome, employed and still living with their mothers. The eight-part series opens April 9 at 10p.

Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos will executive produce an unscripted series called Cheer for CMT. Six hour-long episodes will look at the world of cheerleading and will premiere in September, likely teamed with the seventh season of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team.

 

Sabrina the Teenage Witch

The next family to have their own reality TV show is the Eastwoods. E! is going inside the lives of Dina Eastwood, wife of film star Clint Eastwood and their daughters Francesca age 18 and Morgan age 15 in the series Mrs. Eastwood & Company. The half-hour 10-episode series follows Dina, Francesca and Morgan as well as the six members of the all-male South African vocal group Overtone that is managed by Dina. Mrs. Eastwood & Company premieres May 20 on E!.

 

Mysteries at the Museum

Two weekly original series featuring urban explorer Don Wildman are making comebacks on Tuesdays as the Travel Channel premieres season three of Mysteries at the Museum April 17 at 9p followed by the second season debut of Off Limits at 10p. In Mysteries at the Museum, Wildman travels the US going into the vaults of our nation's most distinguished museums uncovering treasures from the past. Wildman continues to journey across the US in Off Limits though this time discovers the secrets of American man-made objects such as bourbon barrels at a Kentucky factory or obtaining a peak at one of the largest floats ever built for the annual Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena.

 

Eden's World

New docu-series Eden's World debuts on Logo April 16 at 10p. The series follows seven-year-old Eden Wood, who recently retired from the child pageant circuit, and her mother Mickie Wood as the duo attempts to take Eden's career in the direction of acting, singing and modeling in New York City.

 

Barter Kings

Production has begun on A&E Network's upcoming original real-life series Barter Kings. The series highlights teams of entrepreneurs as they pursue items they want by trading other items they currently own. Cash is never exchanged in these transactions and the barterers, who know the current market well, will trade multiple times to get the object they want. A&E ordered 13 half-hour episodes and will bow the series this summer.

 

Men at Work

Thursdays this summer will be home to TBS' new original comedies starting with buddy comedy Men at Work premiering May 24 at 10p with back-to-back episodes.

 

Buying and Selling

Network: HGTV

A trio of new series are joining HGTV's lineup, per B&C. Buying and Selling (wt) is a spinoff of the network's Property Brothers series where Jonathan Scott prepares a family's home for sale while brother Drew finds their next property. The series debuts in September. Two other new HGTV series are spinoffs of the House Hunters franchise: House Hunters: Where Are They Now? debuts in October and looks in on memorable House Hunters families to see what happened after finding their new house. Living Abroad picks up where House Hunters International leaves off and looks at what it takes for Americans to adjust to a new country. The premiere date of Living Abroad has not been set yet.

 

Jersey Shore

It seemed in doubt for a while, but MTV has renewed Jersey Shore for a sixth season despite declining ratings and talent complications surrounding the pregnancy of Snookie. The net reports that the entire cast will be returning even with the upcoming spin-offs featuring Pauly D (The Pauly D Project debuting March 29) and Jennie JWoww Farley and Nicole Snookie Polizzi.

 

ABC FAMILY SHOWS

Network: ABC Family

ABC Family will have three nights of original productions this summer. Starting June 1, Bunheads, about a Vegas showgirl who opens up a dance school in a small town, will air on Mondays at 9PM. Pretty Little Liars returns for a third season on Tuesday, June 5, 8PM, followed by a second season of Jane By Design at 9PM. Wednesday, May 30, 8PM, Melissa & Joey are back. Baby Daddy debuts on Tuesday, June 20 at 8:30PM. That show is about a young man whose girlfriend leaves their baby on his doorstep. Beverly Hills Nannies, a docuseries premieres on Wednesday, July 11, 9PM.

 

Whale Wars: Viking Shores

Animal Planet will premiere the latest in the Whale Wars saga on Friday, April 27, 8PM, with a two-hour episode.  The new series Whale Wars: Viking Shores follows the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, led by Paul Watson, as they try to stop the annual Faroese ritual called The Grind where the people herd pilot whales to their shallow shores to be killed for their meat. On May 4, the show moves to an hour starting at 9PM.

 

Anger Management

FX premieres four comedy series, two new series and a pair of returning series all airing back to back on June 28, 2012. The series debut of acquired comedy Anger Management starring Charlie Sheen opens with stacked episodes at 9p and 930p. Subsequent weeks will have original episodes air at 930p on Thursdays preceded by the previous week's episode repeated at 9p.

 

Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp

Lifetime has picked up Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp, an all-new docu-series that will provide an exclusive, rare glimpse into Bristol Palin's real life as a young, single mother forging her own way in the world while living under the constant spotlight as a member of one of America's most high-profile families. The ten episode series will happen sometime in May. With never-before-granted access to Bristol's real-life experiences growing into womanhood, Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp will reveal how she adjusts to her life in Alaska, where daily she faces the many pressures of raising her toddler son Tripp alone and maintains the close relationship she holds with her parents, former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Todd, and siblings. Steadfastly moving forward both personally and professionally, Bristol will be confronted by the many difficult life decisions people must make regarding parenthood, family, relationships and career - giving viewers a unique look at how these true-to-life challenges test her resolve as she single-handedly writes the next chapter in her and Tripp's young life.

River Monsters

A fourth season of River Monsters opens on Animal Planet April 1 at 9p with a special two-hour episode. The new season follows extreme angler Jeremy Wade as he travels to Florida, Texas, Missouri and Oklahoma in search of maneaters. The series will air in its regular time slot of Sundays at 10p following the premiere. River Monsters is produced by Icon Films for Animal Planet.

 

Around the World in 80 Plates

Bravo’s new culinary series will be officially called Around the World in 80 Plates Presented by Chase Sapphire Preferred. A co-branded campaign for the series, which debuts in May, is also part of the sponsorship deal.

 

Common Law

The Real World

MTV has announced that the upcoming 27th season of The Real World will originate in the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Thomas. The new season is expected to debut this summer.

 

The TV Land Awards 2012

The TV Land Awards 2012 will air on Sunday, April 29, 9PM and will be hosted by Kelly Ripa. The tenth anniversary event will honor Aretha Franklin with the Music Icon Award. The 90-minute telecast will feature “exhilarating musical performances and will reunite some of the most iconic celebrity TV casts.

 

Comedy Awards

Titanic: The Final Word with James Cameron

"Titanic: The Final Word with James Cameron" is set to air April 8 on National Geographic Channel. The two-hour special, which marks the 100th anniversary of the ship's sinking, will feature the "Titanic" movie director leading a discussion among various experts as to why the vessel went down.

 

Political Animals

Sigourney Weaver is making her primetime series debut as the lead in USA Network's upcoming summer miniseries "Political Animals." Veteran film actress will play Elaine Barrish, a divorced former first lady and newly appointed secretary of state who throws herself into her job when her marriage falls apart and a presidential bid comes up short. The six-episode mini from Warner Horizon Television is being exec produced by Greg Berlanti and Laurence Mark. Berlanti wrote and directed the pilot.

 

Kathy

New weekly late-night talk show Kathy starring reality star/comedian/actress Kathy Griffin opens on Bravo April 19 at 10p. Kathy will air on Thursdays and cover the latest news and celebrity gossip in addition to Griffin sharing her unique stories in front of a studio audience. Embassy Row produces Kathy for Bravo.

 

Flipped Off

Shot in Nashville, the six-episode series goes inside Yearwood's kitchen as she cooks her favorite meals and shares stories and visits from friends and family.
