Lane Olson
Manager of Specialty Sales – Sports/Political

After six years of work in radio advertising, Lane began his cable career in 1996 with Ads on Paragon, which later became Time Warner and after three years as a local AE, he moved to the Interconnect of the Twin Cities. Eight years as a Regional AE followed – highlighted by a President’s club accommodation and the transition to Comcast Spotlight in 2006. By 2007, Lane had taken on duties as Sports Sales Specialist in addition to his AE responsibilities, but by 2008 his sports role expanded to a full time position as Sports Manager - managing sports sales across all three lines of business. The fall of 2009 brought the exciting opportunity to meld sports and politics - resulting in the new title of Manager of Specialty Sales – Sports/Political.

Lane has lived his entire life in the Mpls/St Paul area, but prefers spending any down-time in the woods of Northern Minnesota. He attended college at The University of Minnesota earning a degree in Speech Communication, Philosophy and Journalism.

Joe Cavaluzzi
National Sales Manager

Joe is a cable veteran. He started his career in traffic with MTV Networks in 1996 and has been in the cable world since then. He was a Rep at NCC in their NY office for almost 6 years. He moved to Chicago in 2003 to start a successful career at Comcast Spotlight.

His first position at Spotlight was National Sales Manager for Grand Rapids/Lansing markets in Michigan where he effectively grew revenues and market share for both markets. In 2006 Comcast Spotlight acquired the Twin Cities Interconnect and remaining Time Warner systems. After the acquisition he took over NSM duties for the Twin Cities later in the year. In recognition of having very successful years in 2008 and 2009, he was twice nominated to Comcast Spotlights Presidents Club.

Joe grew up in Lake Ronkonkoma (Long Island) New York and attended college at the State University of New York - College at Oswego. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting/Mass Communications.

Gerry Brouwer
Automotive Sales Manager

Gerry started in the advertising sales industry at KSTP-TV in 1969.  After almost 30 years, in 1997, he moved to the #1 broadcast station in the maket, KARE-11.
He then jumped into selling cable advertising at the Interconnect of the Twin Cities in 2002 and has been working in cable ever since.  Gerry is the Automotive Sales Manager.

DuAnn Surbaugh
Senior Director of Sales - Twin Cities Region

DuAnn was recently promoted to Senior Director of Sales - Twin Cities Region and has been the Director of Sales and previously Director of Regional and National sales. Prior, DuAnn has been a successful Interconnect AE at Time Warner, for 5 years. She also ran the MMT national sales office in Minneapolis for 13 years. Her sales career began as a Local television AE in Sioux Falls, SD.

Dan Warrick
Director Local Sales - Twin Cities

Dan has been in the cable industry since 1990 and with Cable Advertising since 1993. Dan has been a Local Sales Manager since 2004, is the newly appointed Twin Cities of Local Sales and enjoys working with his team to develop comprehensive and strategic Advertising Solutions for Comcast Spotlight customers and partners.

Dave Pajeau
Director of Sales - Advanced Media

As Regional Director of Advanced Media, West Region, Dave oversees the Advanced Media initiatives and strategies for Chicago, Twin Cities, Rockford and our Central IL markets.  Dave joined Comcast Spotlight Chicago in November 2006.  Prior to joining Comcast, Dave was Director of Sales for Online and Print Automotive Advertising at Chicago Tribune where he led Local, Regional and National sales teams.
