NEW YORK – March 5, 2013 – Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, today announced four executive promotions. The company has named Rick Stanley as Senior Vice President of the company’s West division; Roland Trombley as Senior Vice President of its NorthCentral division; Kevin Patrick Smith as Senior Vice President of Comcast Media 360; and Mary Rooney as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Internal Communications. All four company leaders report to Comcast Spotlight Corporate Senior Vice President and General Manager Hank Oster.
Rick Stanley joined Comcast in 2002, and leads Comcast Spotlight’s West Division, overseeing a team of 680 sales, finance, marketing, operations and support employees. The division includes such major markets as Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Denver.
Roland Trombley oversees Comcast Spotlight’s NorthCentral Division. He is responsible for all sales, marketing, finance, production and traffic operations for 18 designated market areas including Chicago, Boston, Detroit and Twin Cities. His division spans more than 11 million homes through Comcast subscribers and affiliate partnerships. Roland joined Comcast Spotlight in 2001.
Kevin Patrick Smith has responsibility for strategically positioning Comcast Spotlight’s interactive, digital and advanced advertising capabilities across multiple screens with leading advertisers in overseeing the company’s Comcast Media 360 business unit. He also works closely with other Comcast business unit leaders to align business goals across the company. He joined Comcast Spotlight in 2007.
Mary Rooney works closely with Comcast Spotlight’s executive team to develop programs and processes to help the company achieve its business goals. She and her team focus on project leadership and internal communications tools to create efficiencies, share best practices and provide uniform business metrics across the company. She first joined Comcast in 2002.
