Comcast Spotlight Promotes Tom Straszewski to Vice President, Interactive Sales
PHILADELPHIA – March 26, 2009 – Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, the nation's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, has named Tom Straszewski Vice President, Interactive Sales.
Since joining Comcast Spotlight in 2006 as Senior Director of Online Ad Sales, Straszewski has helped to build what was a new business at the time—selling advertising on Comcast.net—into a rapidly growing national organization offering digital marketing solutions across a range of online properties.
Straszewski spearheaded a successful company-wide online training certification program, providing more than 1,900 sales executives with expertise in selling Comcast Spotlight’s online products. In addition he led the introduction of rich media powered by Mixpo for Comcast.net advertising in 2008. His expanded responsibilities now include oversight of Comcast Spotlight’s Vehix business unit.

Prior to joining Comcast Spotlight, Straszewski held senior sales management positions with various cable providers, including Adelphia, TCI and Cablevision. He holds a B.A. from the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR.
