AMC says the fifth and final season of its critically-acclaimed drama Breaking Bad will premiere on Sunday, July 15, 10PM. Eight episodes will air in the first half of the season; the second half will air in the summer of 2013. New series Small Town Security will debut right after on July 15, 11PM. That show is about a family-owned security firm in rural Georgia. The net also announced that Hell on Wheels will be back with season 2 on Sunday, August 12, 9PM.

Pyros

The Weather Channel has three new mini-series coming to its network. Pyros will have eight one-hour episodes premiering June 19 at 9p. Pyros follows an elite group of pyro-technicians led by Maude Furtado at Montreal's Groupe Fiatlux-Ampleman who battle variable weather conditions while producing large-scale fireworks displays worldwide. Iceberg Hunters follows a group of men who travel through Iceberg Alley, as they search for, wrestle and harvest ice bringing it back to land for the production of pure bottled water and vodka. Iceberg Hunters premieres September 18 at 9p with four half-hour episodes produced by Rogue State Productions in association with Lionsgate Television. The third installment is Reefmakers following a family of experienced divers and demolition experts who attempt to reduce erosion and pollution in order to restore the coastline of Alabama by creating artificial reefs. Reefmakers is produced by Gurney Productions with four half-hour episodes set to launch October 9 at 9p.

TNT has greenlit Monday Mornings, a powerful new series from award-winning producer David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope) and practicing neurosurgeon and CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, M.D., on whose book the series is based. The medical drama stars Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2, TNT's The Company), Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica), Jennifer Finnigan (Better with You), Bill Irwin (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), Keong Sim (Glee), Sarayu Rao (Lions for Lambs), and Emily Swallow (TNT's Southland). TNT has ordered a 10-episode first season of Monday Mornings, which is set to premiere in summer 2013.

CMT has inked a development deal with actor and former WWE superstar Steve Austin, tapping him as host of a new 10-episode series REDNECK ISLAND, it was announced today by Jayson Dinsmore, EVP, Programming and Development, CMT. REDNECK ISLAND takes 12 red, white and blue-collared Americans out of the South - and far away from cold beer - dropping them in a tropical paradise where they will compete for $100,000. The redneck-style competition series will debut in June, paired with a second season of CMT's hit series MY BIG REDNECK VACATION.

A&E Network is readying the new medical thriller miniseries Coma which will premiere later this summer or by early September. Coma is a four-hour miniseries starring Richard Dreyfuss, Ellen Burstyn, James Woods, Geena Davis, Lauren Ambrose and Steven Pasquale and is a modern-day retelling of the novel by Robin Cook and the film by Michael Crichton. SyFy’s summer programming schedule has been released and has many new and returning series for viewers to enjoy. Insane or Inspired? A new original series premieres Friday May 25 at 10PM. This new series features the most exciting videos from the Internet that celebrate the world of imagination, invention, and extreme experiences. Season 5 of Destination Truth premieres on July 10 at 8PM with two special back-to-back episodes, as Josh Gates and his team lead viewers on a chase into one of the world's biggest caves in the jungles of Vietnam to search for Bigfoot. Also premiering July 10 is new original series Paranormal Highway at 10PM.
