You Don’t Need the Luck O’ the Irish to Find Quality Television This March

(All Times Eastern)-They don’t call it March Madness just for the college basketball frenzy, you know. After a long winter, the hints of spring in the air tease us of what’s to come, causing restlessness and longing to spend time outdoors (for most of the country, at least). But why long to be outside when there’s such great television programming to consume?! All this month you’ll find plenty of video options to keep you entertained across screens without having to chase a rainbow to find your video equivalent to a pot of gold. (Hint, the Xfinity Voice Remote is really awesome.) So let’s take a look at what’s coming up this month. You can simply click on the links to get more information about any of the shows listed below.

Limited Series

You’ve probably heard the term “limited series” a lot more lately. It means the show has a beginning and an end and there isn’t another season like it around the corner. CNN is debuting a couple of these about former presidents. History is presenting yet another tale of Christ’s life, this time told from the perspective of those around him like Mother Mary, John the Baptist, Judas Iscariot, Pontius Pilate and more. And I added March Madness® to this mix since each year the story is new and unpredictable.

Because audiences love them, these shows have been renewed for new seasons. From the possible (Cosmos: Possible Worlds) to the impossible (people still watch the Kardashians???) and everything in between (Project Runway is back on Bravo), these are some of the notable season premieres this month.

New Shows of Interest

New shows are sometimes a little misleading. You’ve got shows that are spinoffs of existing franchises like Married to Medicine Los Angeles or The Perfectionists; there are shows that are being revived after years off the air, like surprise room makeover series While You Were Out; and then you have truly new shows like What We Do in the Shadows. But all are shows that you haven’t seen before. Here are some of the new shows for March.
