OVERVIEW:

Anxiety keeps some people from seeking dental care. One Stop Dentistry of Tacoma, WA, made their ability to help anyone suffering from a fear of the dentist the centerpiece of their advertising campaign, and worked with Comcast Spotlight to reach prospective patients on TV and digital platforms.

STRATEGY:

For broad reach, One Stop Dentistry's TV advertising included popular channels like Bravo, CNN, Food Network, History and Lifetime. Initially, advertising was focused in the Tacoma zone within the Seattle market, with additional zones added during the campaign to reach even more prospective clients. Digital advertising on Xfinity.com reinforced the TV campaign by using the same video, and adding one-click links to learn more about the practice and its doctors, check special offers, download a coupon for teeth whitening and schedule an appointment online. The in-banner video advertisement even included a link to One Stop Dentistry's Facebook page.

SUCCESS:

It didn’t take long for multi-screen advertising to work for One Stop Dentistry, as a new patient called shortly after the campaign began, noting she saw the message on Xfinity.com. She wasn’t alone. More new clients have reported seeing commercials on both TV and Xfinity.com, while other clients say the commercials reminded them to make an overdue appointment. In all, One Stop Dentistry’s videos on Xfinity.com were viewed between 750 and 1,000 times per month during the campaign, yielding between 50 and 100 monthly click-throughs to the practices’ website.
